Erin is Responsible

On a monthly basis, the teachers at the kids' elementary school nominate students in their class that exemplify a particular characteristic. Those who are chosen are rewarded with a medal, an award ceremony with all the kids who won and their families, and their picture hangs on the wall for a month in the hallways of the school.

Last month, Erin's teacher nominated her for exemplifying responsibility. Erin does very well in school and is a very responsible little girl. We got to go see her receive the award this morning and it was a lot of fun (she actually won last month, but there were issues with us being able to attend the ceremony, so they pushed her's off until this month). We're very proud of her and love that her teacher rewarded her in this way.
