We took Nate to his quarterly Diabetes appointment today. Seems like every other one doesn't go so well. His numbers were up (A1C 8) and he ended up getting a shot and having his blood drawn - both of which he did not expect, and the blood draw Angie and I didn't know about. Needless to say he was pretty spent when he was done. Thank goodness for the Dollar Tree, we told him he could go there afterward and he was fine. Nothing like crappy toys to cheer a kid up after being poked a few times. Dang Diabetes.

sorry about the A1C...yes it does seem that "crappy toys" are always a hit at our house too!
