We always head out to Temple Square the first Monday after the lights are on to check out the place and get some hot chocolate at the Lion House Pantry. It was a fun night. The first night EVER we have not had a whiny kid. I thought for sure I'd be carrying Nate by the end of the night, but he dressed in his snow suit and threw snowballs at me the entire night, so he was in heaven. He actually asked to stay longer. Love having the kids get older and appreciate these things a bit more. We went with a large portion of my family. Not everyone was able to make it, but those who did had a nice time - we missed those who couldn't be there, but got a good check in from Brad, so at least we know he got home ok.
