So the girls have something new to take up their time for the remainder of the summer. For those of you who weren't aware, they are all going to be part of the Herriman City production of Schoolhouse Rock Live! It is a musical, and they are now practicing twice a week and really liking it. I think some of it has been harder work than they thought it would be, but we are so proud of them for being brave enough to audition and talented enough to make it on the cast.
Even though we don't live in Herriman, we saw their production of The Sound of Music and really enjoyed it. It was well done and in a very beautiful outdoor location. The girls were impressed enough that they thought it would be fun to participate in a production themselves and they auditioned a week later. They were nervous, and Erin wasn't even going to do it until the last second, but they all did great.
