It's nice in that you get to see the floats close up and really appreciate them. There is entertainment and you get to actually vote for your favorites. The kids had a good time and got themselves painted up a bit.

24th of July Parade
"Went to the Parade" last week. Actually, we went to the float preview at the South Towne convention center, which in my opinion is about three thousand times better than actually going to the parade. No hot sun, no fighting for a spot, no horse crap dropping in front of you...etc.
It's nice in that you get to see the floats close up and really appreciate them. There is entertainment and you get to actually vote for your favorites. The kids had a good time and got themselves painted up a bit.
