Nate had a birthday party this Saturday with some of his school buddies and his cousin. It was a Spiderman party, which somehow got interrupted by the Green Goblin, who stole the candy and all the presents, but everyone trained up on their Spidey skills and ended up getting everything back in the end. Here are some highlights.

The event started out with a sword fight as I demonstrated my hot balloon shaping skills.



Some of the balloons didn't hold their shape long, but they still had fun.

After the Green Goblin made an "appearance," they practiced their stomping skills (because Spider Man can stomp really hard, didn't you know that?)



Next we had a web slinging relay where many of Spidey's nemeses were splattered with webs, but the Green Goblin picture got it the worst.



The presents were found, opened, and they all had some treats.

As they ate, one of Nate's buddies speculated on why the Green Goblin would be so mad and attack Nathan's party. He had some pretty good theories.



All ended well when the Goblin decided to give up after watching how well they slung web and found hidden presents, so the treasure was returned and everyone finished the day by popping all the balloons in the backyard. It was a blast.
