Silver Lake 2009 Edition

This is a tradition. We usually go up to Silver Lake at the top of Big Cottonwood Canyon to take pictures and see the leaves change around General Conference Weekend, but with a big storm approaching on Wednesday that threatens snow down even to the valleys possibly, we thought we'd run up and see how they look right now. They are just about at their peak, so anyone who is in the valley, I would suggest getting up there in the next day or two before snow storms knock all the leaves from the trees.

Here are a few more that we took. The light was too harsh while we were up there, so most of the pictures are washed out a bit, but it was still very pretty.
