Hard Work

We're working on getting our basement finished and there are a few things that tend to get delayed. Not due to material shortages, or delivery schedules, but simply due to the fact that you don't look forward to doing them. Tiling is one of those things. The funny thing is that once you get started, it kind of flies by, and the end result is really nice and a dramatic change. This is what we worked on last night - ended up getting most of the kitchenette done. Our goal is to try and get all the tile laid by the end of Saturday, but that may be a bit optimistic.

I can say that tiling with two people is much better than doing it yourself, though. In this case last night, I spread out all of the mortar and Angie placed and evened out the tiles, which made things go very quickly.
